What is a
Model United Nations?
A Model United Nations (MUN) is a simulation of the United Nations where students role-play as diplomats representing different countries. Participants debate global issues, draft resolutions, and negotiate solutions — developing skills in public speaking, diplomacy, research, and critical thinking while gaining deep insight into international relations and global policymaking.

Brig. (Dr.) S. K. Ambike
Commissioned into the Regiment of Artillery in June 1970, Brig. Ambike was awarded the prestigious Silver Gun for standing First on the Young Officers course.
He fought the 1971 war as a Gun Position Officer in the Balnoi Sector, J&K. A graduate of the National Defence Academy, Pune (1969) and the Defence Services Staff College, Wellington — training alongside officers from 48 nations.
Faculty Member at the Army War College and School of Artillery, Devlali. 15 of his 39 years served in Jammu & Kashmir.
